InterVal — Property Valuation Solution

Valuation Advisory for Governments, Banks and Development Institutions

When thousands of property valuations sit behind a banking system's collateral, no one can see whether they were done properly.

Our founding team has reviewed them — for the IMF, the World Bank, and the banks themselves.

Selected engagements

International Monetary Fund

Asset Quality Review — Mongolia

2018

Review of the property valuations behind real estate held as collateral across the country's banks — thousands of reports, assessed against RICS and IVS.

World Bank

Development Bank of Mongolia

2018–2019

Review of the valuation reports for all collateral assets held by the Development Bank of Mongolia.

Golomt Bank

Standards and methodology training — Mongolia

Training of the bank's entire valuation department on international valuation standards and methodology.

These engagements were led by InterVal's founding team at their Mongolia-based valuation practice — then the only RICS-accredited firm in the country — before Interval Solution Pte. Ltd. was incorporated in Singapore in 2022.

We review. We never value.

We do not produce valuations. We never compete with the firms whose work we assess, and we never hold a stake in the number. That boundary is why a supervisor, a lender or a multilateral can rely on our findings.

What we do

Asset Quality Review & portfolio review

IMF, World Bank, bank supervisors, portfolio managers

We assess valuation reports behind a loan book or a portfolio: compliance with RICS and IVS, the evidence behind each figure, and the exposure that follows from what is missing.

Standards adoption & capacity building

Governments, regulators, professional bodies, JICA, ADB

We help a jurisdiction adopt international valuation standards: the regulatory framework, the methodology, and the training and certification of local valuers.

Standards uplift for valuation practices

Valuation firms

We bring a practice's process, files and reporting up to the current RICS Red Book and IVS editions, so its work survives a review rather than triggering one.

Where the software fits

InterVal also deploys at institutional scale, with migration, integration and training. That is a separate conversation from the advisory work above.
